A Metro Ticket is a pickup found rarely within The Clocktower. Metro Tickets are used to grant an additional Relic or pickup at the start of a run, at the cost of Health, Max Health, or Curses. Additional types of tickets can be unlocked, giving bonuses such as Celestial Weapons for higher prices.
Only a certain amount of Tickets can be equipped at once, starting at three. Unlocking Secrets by using certain amounts of Tickets increases this amount.
At the beginning of the game, a Metro Ticket is given to you by the Caretaker. This initial ticket allows the use of The Metro in order to start the game, and when other Tickets are unlocked, gives a single Key for free.
