Materials are currency used outside of runs with various NPC's in Memoria Station. Materials are also dropped by bosses and minibosses, after their defeat. Materials can be given to the tinkerer after finding blueprints to unlock decorations in The Metro as well as more special rooms for future runs. Materials are also used to unlock more soul guns.
