Soul Gun

The soul gun is one of the 8 starting Weapons, and the only one that is unlocked by default.

It has 4 variants. Its overall theme is a fairly well rounded gun which allows it to have some interesting and unique variants.

• Mighty Leek, Poker Chip, Forgotten Keepsake, Lucky Emblem, Leech
  • While still valuable when effecting your base shots, its important to keep in mind that since the gun can guarantee crits it may be less valuable to increase your crit chance.

  • Increasing your crit damage can be very powerful as this gun has the ability to guarantee crits.
• Matchbox, Frying pan
  • Guaranteed debufs on critical hits can also be strong for the same reason.

Diffusion

"A soul gun variant, that lets you shoot stronger bullets, as long as those bullets hit enemies or you dash through enemies"

  • With certain relics that add more bullets you may find yourself losing ammo more than you want because its very challenging to hit these extra bullets.

Celestial

"A soul gun variant, that is weaker, but lets you swing a fast sword when close to an enemy"

Unlocked by beating shard 15 with any soul gun variant. The sword deletes bullets like the celestial sword.

  • Increasing your bullet size also increases the size of your sword which can be very very powerful.

• Dust Bunny
  • Dust bunny typically decreases the size of your bullets over time but due to how the sword works it instead makes the sword deal massive damage and have massive size. This is one of the strongest single item + gun combos in the game making it very powerful when attempting extreme shard runs.
