Strange Key

The Strange Key opens the mysterious door in the Ticking Tower Top. To get the Strange Key you must first obtain Key Piece 1 and Key Piece 2 at which point they will automatically combine.

You gain Key Piece 1 in the Hollow Hives through the translucent door that only opens when playing a run on Shard 5 or higher. The Key Piece will appear if you have only full heart containers.

You gain Key Piece 2 in the Calm Caldarium through the translucent door that only opens when playing a run on Shard 5 or higher. The Key Piece will appear if you have no full heart containers.
