Bargaining
Bargaining, also known as the Deep Frost Warden of Desperation, is the third boss encountered in Arid Athenaeum.
Behavior
Bargaining starts the fight on the ceiling, but it can freely jump between it and the ground. Depending on its current position, it has different actions.
The actions performed on the ceiling:
- Bargaining screeches, releasing three series of waving bullets in every direction
- It start running, and after some time begins shooting below.
- it stomps, firing two waves of bullets
- It jumps down, landing on its legs.
- Its top starts spinning, as it jumps down without flipping. The boss spins and quickly moves in player's direction, trying to hit them. After some time it stops following, and slams at the wall, releasing a bunch of affected by gravity bullets. Killing it on this phase will unlock the Let it Spin secret.
The actions performed on the ground:
- The boss screeches, shooting three series of waving bullets in every direction
- It stomps the ground with the leg closest to the player, releasing a bunch of bullets
- Is starts floating, as its legs spin around its body. Every once in a while, telegraphed by a red ray, one of them will launch at the player. When it comes into contact with a wall, a sphere of bullets will fly out of it. After that, it slowly retreats.
- it jumps up, flips, and clings to the ceiling.
Second phase
The attacks are generally faster.
